This training is designed for individuals interested in writing a viable business plan. The workshop discusses key components and topic matter, including: purpose of plan, organizational and market objectives, competitive comparison, financial management, business environment, customer profile, legal structure, marketing strategy and analysis, business forecasting, traditional financing, personnel, and much more.

This marketing class will help you develop the processes of planning and executing the conception, pricing , promotion and distribution of ideas, goods an services to create exchanges that satisfy individual and organizational objectives.

Honor a Hero, Hire a Veteran

This one day event is designed to bridge the gap between individuals interested in starting a business or businesses, looking to receive contracting opportunities with Federal, State, local municipalities, and prime contractors. Opportunities will be available to meet with bank loan officers to discuss financing options for DVBE, Veteran and Small Business enterprises. Franchising executives will also be available to discuss possible franchising opportunities.

Workshops will be offered on franchising opportunities, enterprise zones, financing alternatives, learning how to contract with Federal, State, local municipalities, and prime contractors. Learn how the California Disabled Veterans Business Enterprises Alliance (DVBE) and other technical services providers can assist small businesses. Pre-registration is required.
